who am I?

Think about that question for a while. "Who would I be if no one ever told me who I was?" What does that mean? So much of our lives we are told who we are, what we like, what footsteps to follow in and how to act. Society and people give us these roles for good reasons, but at the same time, limit us on how we live and why. But what if just for a second, you thought about yourself as an individual. Who are you?

A great way to get in touch with this part of the self is to think back to when you were a child. What did you love, what kind of games did you play, how did you spend your time? Thinking about the way we were as children can connect us back to our authentic self. How have you changed since your childhood? What have you lost of given away? Can you get it back?

Take some time this week to reconnect to who you really are outside of who you have become. Stop and ask yourself this question, and let the answer come to the surface.
